# What's checkpoint in API?

Checkpoint is the shipments logistics history of a shipment. For example, if there are 10 events in one shipment, then it's 10 checkpoints.

Let's give you a detailed example: 
For Tracking NO.: 9461209205568292657642, there are 11 events in it, so it's 11 checkpoints.
