Overview


Keeping a tab on your shipments is important to build a splendid post-purchase experience. With TrackingMore, you can check shipment analytics to understand how well your selected carriers are doing. This guide covers every small detail about shipment analytics.

Steps to check Shipment reports

  1. Navigate to Analytics
  2. You'll see data based on the default settings, so set the filters according to your preference to see the desired results

Let’s understand the shipment analytics of TrackingMore:

Customizable filters to slice and dice reports

  • Create date: It will be selected by default, which means you’ll see shipments that you’ve created in your TrackingMore account. You can switch to Order Date
  • Date range: Define the period for which you check the on-time shipment data


A status bar to quickly check the progress of your shipments

Right after the filters, you will see a status bar that tells you about shipping performance. It has key metrics to offer you valuable insights. Here's how it looks:

  1. Total shipments: It shows the total number of the imported shipments including status not found, transit, out for delivery, delivered, expired, failed attempt, exception & info received
  2. Delivered: It shows the percentage of delivered shipments. It gets calculated with this formula:
(Total number of delivered shipments / Total shipment) *100


  1. Exception: It shows the percentage of shipments with an exception history. It gets calculated with this formula:
(Total number of exception shipments / Total shipments) *100


  1. Expired: It shows the percentage of shipments with an expired history. It gets calculated with this formula:
(Total number of expired shipments / Total shipments) *100


Detail oriented reports

Click View details to see in-depth data and export it in the CSV format.
Shipment over time

It tells you the progress of your shipments over time. It shows how many of your shipments are delivered and non-delivered.

  1. Click View details to analyze the in-depth performance of your shipments over time.
  2. Filter data by day, week, or month for a more granular or panoramic timeframe view.

Detailed report analysis
a. Filter and sort data by create date, order date and timeframe
b. View the total number of shipments on a particular day, week, or month (Data will be displayed based on the filters selected).
c. View the ratio of delivered and non-delivered shipments to total shipments delivered during a specified period.
d. To download the report, click ↥Export CSV.


Shipment by current status

It's self-explanatory. You see data based on different shipment statuses like not found, transit, out for delivery, delivered, expired, failed attempt, exception & info received

You can click the square icon beside the status to open and close its displaying in the chart


Total shipments by carriers

The line graph helps you analyze the performance of your carrier in shipping packages and check the progress of your shipments.
Click View details to analyze the in-depth performance of your shipments over time.


Detailed report analysis

  1. Filter and sort data by create date, order date and timeframe
  2. By carrier/services
    a. The total number of shipments your top-performing carriers are handling during a specified period
    b. The percentage of total shipments using each carrier service
    c. The percentage of each carrier / service's shipments that have been delivered
  3. To download the report, click ↥Export CSV.


Exception reasons

The line graph helps you analyze the performance of your carrier in exception reasons and helps you decide to change a new carrier or not.



Total shipments by lanes

a. The total number of shipments mapped across different countries/regions
b. The percentage of total shipments shipped to a specific country/region
c. The percentage of shipments that have been delivered to a specific country/region


Note: You can export the data in the CSV format after clicking on View details > click ↥Export CSV


Total shipments by carrier services
a. The total number of shipments your top-performing carriers are handling during a specified period
b. The percentage of total shipments using each carrier service
c. The percentage of each carrier / service's shipments that have been delivered


Note: You can check the delivery performance of all carriers by simply clicking on View details > unfold a lane or select a carrier > click ↥Export CSV as well



Exception shipments by carrier

It tells you how well your selected carriers are performing while delivering shipments especially in exception. Of course, it will let you choose other carriers if one or two are not living up to your expectations.


Note: You can export the data in the CSV format after clicking on View details > by carrier or select a carrier > click ↥Export CSV


Exception shipments by destination

It shows how many exception shipments are based on their destination country. This would be very helpful if you ship globally, as you can identify those countries where your shipments struggle to reach timely due to some exception reasons after being dispatched from a specific location.


Note: You can export the data in the CSV format after clicking on View details > by destination or select a destination > click ↥Export CSV
